This vacuum relief valve (vacuum breaker) is designed specifically for solar pool heater applications.

This VRV is typically installed using a rubber coupler hose and hose clamps.

This is a ball spring (5#) type check valve that is typically installed at the highest point in a solar pool heating system; by allowing air to enter the pool solar panels it aids in gravity drainage of solar pool collectors and piping.
