Not All Plastic is Created Equal

Unmodified polypropylene has a high rate of degradation from UV exposure. Each absorber plate of a Solar Pool Supply collector is made from a propylene copolymer with synergistic antioxidants and UV screen including carbon black. These special additives coupled with state of the art manufacturing techniques substantially increase the material’s resistance to UV light. This process is more expensive to produce however is vital for creating a panel that is able to withstand harsh conditions for many years.

Performance By Design

A “tube and web” design allows for normal expansion and contraction extending life expectancy (also today’s highest performing). A direct metered manifold delivers a balanced flow through the collector preventing hot spots. Compatible with any solar pool heater containing a round 2.0″ I.D. (inner diameter) header manifold and makes attachments with a rubber coupling.
